NorCal Travel Ball has been selected to bring a team to USA Baseball 14u National Team Identification Series

National Team Identification Series

• 12 Teams (6 in the East; 6 in the West)

• 14u NTIS will be the exclusive method for selecting USA Baseball 14u National Team
• August 29-31 in Los Angeles, CA (MLB Urban Youth Academy)

NCTB Stars (Northern California)

• 18 Players will be selected
• Players must be born on or after January 1, 1994
• We will hold a 2-day long NTIS Prep camp the weekend before the NTIS Event to help prepare players for that event. This camp will be Aug 23-24 from 10-3 each day at Archbishop Mitty HS in San Jose. We will bring in some of the best baseball people in the area to help prepare our players for the NTIS. Included will be s track coach to work on 60-dash times, etc. On Sunday, we will put together a group of older players to play 2 9-inning games against our NCTB Stars team.
• Players must reside in Northern CA. (North of San Luis Obispo on the coast; north of Bishop in the Valley)

NCTB Stars Selection Process

• PHASE 1: Regional Tryouts
  - 5 locations throughout N. California (limited to 40 players at each location)!
  - Players may participate in ANY of the 5 (locations/dates are for convenience)
  - Players may attend more than 1 regional tryout, but must register & pay separately for each.
  - Each tryout last 5 hours. Approx. 3 hours of tryout followed by a 1-2 hour clinic
  - Players should bring a bag lunch, drinks & necessary equipment.
  - Players should wear baseball pants and a baseball cap for the tryout.


• PHASE 2: Northern California Trials
  - 32 Players will be invited to a one day "callback" tryout.
  - Trials will take place on Tuesday July 15th at St. Francis HS in Mountain View. (12-6 pm)
  - Trials will involve a practice session, and a 9-inning game.
  - At least 4 of the Trials invitees and at least 2 members of the roster will be 1995 birthdays.
